Generally speaking, a 20-ton boiler is divided into a 20-ton steam boiler and a 20-ton hot water boiler according to the medium. According to the fuel, there are another 20-ton gas boiler, 20-ton oil-fired boiler, 20-ton methanol boiler, 20-ton biomass boiler, 20-ton coal-fired boiler, 20-ton fluidized bed boiler, etc. Their service life is different.

Let's expand our scope. How many years is the service life of the boiler? According to the quality and maintenance of boilers, the service life of some high-tech 20t boilers can reach more than 20 years. However, it does not mean that the boiler must be scrapped after reaching the number of years of use. However, according to the annual inspection, once the annual inspection fails, the boiler can continue to be used after passing the annual inspection after overhaul. If the overhaul still fails to reach the monitoring standard, the boiler will be forced to be scrapped.

In fact, all boilers have no definite service life, because boilers are large-scale equipment, different from automobiles. There are two conditions for its scrapping: first, the thermal efficiency is lower than the actual specified value; Second, there are conditions that cannot guarantee safety. One of them needs to be overhauled or scrapped to meet the conditions.

The general design service life of domestic large and extra-large boilers is 30 years, and the expired boilers are generally extended to 50 years. However, the frequency of maintenance and testing will increase every year. In addition, it is not known how the long-term idle service life of boilers is affected. Only after long-term idle, if need to reuse, must carry on the comprehensive maintenance inspection, overpressure test to be particularly strict.

4, although after overhaul or transformation still cannot meet the above conditions, must be scrapped and updated;

5, Other phenomena that cannot guarantee output, efficiency, safety and other factors identified by boiler inspection office shall be rejected or overhauled according to the identification results.
