How to Choose Heating Boilers in 2018

2018-12-20

Now is the purchasing season of heating boilers. The heating boilers provided by our company are mainly for urban centralized heating, including large municipal city heat pipe network centralized heating and regional boiler centralized heating. Moreover, the national requirements for NOx emission from heating boilers are more stringent. The nitrogen and oxygen emissions of heating boilers in our company are lower than the strictest emission standards of air pollutants in our country. Users can safely choose and buy them.

I. Relation between Heating Area and Boiler Capacity

Many users do not know how large the area should be chosen for heating boilers. Here is a simple relationship between heating area and boiler size.

The heat supply of 1 ton hot water boiler is 0.7MW, and that of 0.7MW hot water boiler is equal to that of 1 ton steam boiler.

Generally, a ton of steam boiler can be heated by about 10,000 square meters. If the project area is 200,000 square meters, about 20 tons of steam boilers or 14 MW hot water boilers are needed. In calculating the heating area of the boiler, other factors should be taken into account, such as building structure, heat dissipation, boiler material and so on.

II. Economic Benefit Comparison of Heating Boilers with Different Fuels

The commonly used fuels for heating boilers are natural gas, diesel oil, heavy oil, various kinds of coal, biomass straw fuels, etc. Since they are different fuels, the cost of fuel consumption is naturally different, which is also one of the main factors for many customers to purchase boiler models. We have listed several kinds of fuels commonly used to make a general comparison of data, which is convenient for users to understand.

NO project  unit  coal oil gas biomass calculation basis
1 thermal efficiency % 80 90 92 80 Thermodynamic calculation
2 Fuel unit price $/kg 0.8 8 5 0.9 2018/01/01
3 Low release calorific value kcal/kg 4000 10200 8500 4500
4 Fuel energy consumption Kg/NT 188 65 77 167 Thermodynamic calculation
5 Fuel cost $/NT 150 520 385 150 (2)*(4)
6 Power consumption Kw/NT 18.3 15.5 15.5 16.1 Comprehensive calculation
7 Electricity cost $/NT 10.98 9.3 9.3 9.66 (5)*0.6
8 Labor fee $/NT 5.8 3.75 3.75 5.2 Comprehensive calculation
9 Maintenance fees $/NT 0.6 0.3 0.3 0.5 Comprehensive calculation
10 Comprehensive cost $/NT 181.38 533.35 398.35 165.36 (5+7+8+9)

As can be seen from the table above, the cost of biomass boilers is about 3/10 of the cost of oil-fired boilers and 2/5 of the cost of gas-fired boilers. Although the data on the table also show that the operating cost of biomass-fired boilers is slightly higher than that of ordinary coal-fired boilers, the state has subsidies for users of biomass-fired boilers. Biomass boilers can be used as alternatives in areas where coal is prohibited and gas is scarce.

III. Application Field of Heating Boiler

ZOZEN produces more than 2 tons of coal-fired hot water boilers, biomass hot water boilers, gas-fired hot water boilers, gas-fired hot water boilers and other products, which can be used for centralized heating in large heating areas of enterprises, hospitals, organizations, greenhouses, schools, residential areas, factories, etc.
